GetRight isn't able to connect to download anything.

If you're using ZoneAlarm, it sometimes does not prompt about granting access, especially after a program is updated:

1. Opening the main ZoneAlarm window
2. Select the "Program Control" tab on the left, then the "Programs" tab in the middle right to list all the programs.
3. Scroll down to GetRight and right click on its name, then Delete from the menu. That should get it to re-prompt next time you have GetRight try to download. When ZoneAlarm asks, make sure you choose to Allow!

GetRight doesn't start when using Windows Vista.

Try disabling the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for GetRight.

1. Open the Windows Vista control panel, then the "System and Maintenance" item.
2. Open the "System" item there, then the "Advanced System Settings" on the left side.
3. On the Advanced tab, click the Settings button in the Performance area.
4. Finally on the Data Execution Prevention, add GetRight to the list of exceptions.

A permanent fix that will allow DEP with GetRight is being worked on with Microsoft...
